James was fortunate to be a student with Master Pedro Sauer at his home school white through black belt. Early on in his journey he knew he wanted to be an instructor and focused heavily on carrying on Pedro's legacy and teaching style. In 2014 James moved to Savannah and started Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Savannah. Now looking to continue the growth we're bringing that success to Pooler, GA to grow our family!

Ryan started Jiu-Jitsu under James Finizio as one of his first students in Savannah, GA in 2014. After about 8 months with James he moved back to Maryland where he spend some years training directly under Master Pedro Sauer. After a job brought him out to San Francisco he started to teach a kids program where he was the head kids instructor for a number of years. We’re grateful to have a youth instructor with so much experience and time already under his belt.
